This policy explains what personal information WaterFalls Event Center & Kitchen collects through this website, why, who sees it and what your rights are. It follows the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who is responsible
WaterFalls Event Center & Kitchen (33 Billings Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos) decides why and how your details are used. This website is built and operated for WaterFalls Event Center & Kitchen by Malon Labs LLC. While the site is managed by Malon Labs LLC, enquiries sent through the RSVP form are received by Malon Labs LLC at discover@malonlabs.us and passed to WaterFalls Event Center & Kitchen. What we collect
- When you send the RSVP form: your name, phone number, email (optional), the event type, date, number of guests, how you want us to reply, and anything you write in the message box.
- Technical data in server logs when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time.
- Nothing else. This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking tools (see the Cookie Notice).
Why we use it and our basis
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a booking. Basis: your consent when you send the form, and steps you ask us to take before a contract.
- To keep the site secure, stop spam and fix faults, and to count visits in total. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website.
- We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell them.
Who sees your details
- WaterFalls Event Center & Kitchen and the people who answer enquiries for it.
- Malon Labs LLC, which operates this website.
- Our email provider (Zoho Mail), which delivers the enquiry email.
- WhatsApp or the phone network, only if you choose that way to reply.
- Google, only if you press "Show map". The map is not loaded until you ask for it.
Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria. We rely on their security commitments and contracts to protect it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to answer you and manage your event, and no longer than 24 months after your event date unless the law requires us to keep them. Server logs are rotated and kept for a short period.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to its use, receive a copy, or withdraw your consent at any time. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng) if you are not satisfied.
Children
This website is for adults. Parents or guardians should make bookings for children's events.
Security
The site uses HTTPS. The form is rate limited and filtered for spam, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not put sensitive details such as card numbers or ID numbers in the message box.
